We believe deeply in the experience of early childhood, and each day our extraordinary teachers create an environment that nurtures the minds and little bodies of our young learners. Our teachers facilitate problem solving, encourage collaboration, instill empathy, and foster independent thinkers through play-based opportunities. Our students are given the time and space to grow socially, emotionally, physically, cognitively, and spiritually.

 

We are a Certified Nature Explore Classroom and are committed to providing quality outdoor classroom experiences to all students, infants through 5 years of age. We know that children learn best through authentic, hands-on experiences; our students spend large amounts of time investigating and exploring our outdoor classroom environments. 

 

ALECC teachers and staff recognize the individual that each young child represents; every student has unique life experiences, learning styles, and ways of taking in the world in which we live. We nurture the whole child and encourage a love of learning, an appreciation for others, and a strong sense of self-value. We respect and celebrate each child, the family in which they belong, and our relationships with each other.
